Tábua em Chamas

Tábua em Chamas is my burger joint, born in 2018 inside my house
in Olinda, Brazil. Fire-grilled burgers, names inspired by Jorge Ben Jor,
and a space filled with vintage toys, posters, plants, and old TVs.

I created everything. Branding, photos, videos, decor and social media. What started small turned into a cult favorite, packed with stories, creativity, and a loyal crowd every weekend.

Year: 2018 - Present

Tools: Canon 5D Mark II, Sony A7III, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere, ChatGPT, ImageFX

Client: Tábua em Chamas (personal project)

Role: Creative Direction, Branding, Food Photography, Social Media, Video Editing, Copywriting, Interior Design

Before landing on the final version of the Tábua brand, I already knew I didn’t want anything that directly referenced what we were selling, burgers.

I wanted a different approach. I explored some curious ideas that, in another setting, might’ve worked well for a fish market. I tested compositions, natural elements, animals, and everyday objects,
but always followed the same logic from the start.

This sequence shows the different paths that helped
me get to the final result. Each variation carries a bit
of Tábua’s spirit. In the end, the tree in front of our first house turned out to be the obvious choice. Simple and full of memory.

Real impact
Tábua became part of the story
people carry on their skin.
A symbol of belonging,
etched with ink and belief.

The best burger on the block
Tábua has always been visual. It was never just about how the burger looked.
The posts, the videos, the headlines, the decor, even the replies… everything had to catch the eye.
Spark curiosity. Stomach and mind.

This series of posts captures the spirit of Tábua: humor, exaggeration, cultura references, and a will to do things differently.

It’s always been about more than food.
We serve burgers, stories and conversation.

Show and tell
Tábua breathes and was made to be experienced.
From influencers to loyal customers.
The house inspires because it delivers more.
It delivers content.
And when the experience is good, it’s worth sharing.
